Project desciption

Microfluidic integration of different nanowires and nanotubes in NanoBioFET sensors:

Highly sensitive and promising sensor platforms based on nanowire field effect transistors have been developed in recent years. In order to utilize these sensors in diagnostics and as point-of-care devices it is important to integrate these into an easy-to-use and effective microfluidic platform. This project aims at the integration of both the functionalization procedure, making the devices sensitive to specific markers, as well as the purification, selection and delivery of the patient sample in a complete lab-on-a-chip platform.
